National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs)
NVQs are designed to recognise your competence in the workplace, providing evidence of your skills, competence and knowledge in a particular discipline. Through an NVQ programme your competence is assessed in the workplace using a range of methods that might include observation of your performance, documentary evidence, professional discussion or questioning. Assessment is against national standards, developed within industry and designed to meet the needs of employers.
cHRysos HR is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development to deliver NVQs in:
- Personnel
- Learning and Development, and the
- A1 and V1 assessor and verifier unit awards
We are also accredited by the Chartered Management Institute to deliver NVQs in:
- Team Leading, and
- Management
Our NVQs are offered at 4 levels:
- Level 2, Team Leader
- Level 3, support/first line management
- Level 4, operational management, and
- Level 5, strategic management
How we deliver the programme...
We offer NVQ programmes on a flexible basis. You will be allocated an adviser/assessor to work with you throughout, giving you support in gathering evidence of your competence and undertaking initial or final assesment. Delivery of the programme can either be at your own place of work or at an alternative location. You have 2-years to complete but this is dependant on how quickly you work through the various units.
Our NVQs can also be delivered to a group of individuals, with supporting workshops if required. The link below shows an example of workshops that could be used to support the NVQ 5 in Stratregic Management.

NVQ in Personnel, Learning and Development, Team Leading or Management
- From £2000 depending on level and your location.
A1 assessor award or V1 internal verifier award
- From £850 depending on your location.
This includes...
- Registration with the CIPD/CMI
- Advice and assessment
- Internal and external verification
- Unit and final certification over a period of 2 years
The cost does not include the fee for any supporting workshops if required, or membership of the CIPD/CMI which you may wish to take advantage of.
Completion of the NVQ in Personnel or Learning and Development gives the following CIPD membership status...
Level 3 – Associate
Level 4 – Associate
Level 5 – Licentiate
