Our CIPD tailored programmes incorporate a competency-based assessment, enabling you to share recent and relevant experience to achieve a CIPD qualification that is the perfect fit for you. This may also offer a shorter route to a CIPD qualification and membership. You will also be pleased to know that you can study at both Level 5 (Associate) and Level 7 (Advanced) in this way.

How does it work?

You complete the core units alongside other CIPD learners, which provides you with the rich learning opportunities gained from studying alongside other learners across a range of sectors and industries. Then the remainder of your programme follows a competency-based assessment model, which considers your current competency for other units of study which are more specialist to the People Practice role.

The competency-based assessment route is based on your portfolio of evidence involving a range of assessment methods, for example; professional discussion, testimonials, story boards and reflection.
