Our client profile
ESC Global is a research and manufacturing company specialising in the development of water treatment products and services. The senior team had identified inconsistencies in managing performance were being referred to the top of the organisation, rather than being managed at team level.
As part of a wider package of HR support we are delivering to the client, we identified the need for a performance management system. We worked with the client to develop and implement a performance management process, produced a performance management handbook for senior managers and trained and coached senior managers in the delivery of performance reviews.
The organisation now has a much improved approach to performance management with responsibility now resting with individual managers rather than the senior team. All employees now have a job description and have participated in a performance review. Expectations and standards of performance have now been clarified and communication opened up.
