CIPD Advanced level qualifications: Learning & Development
CIPD Advanced level qualifications in Learning and Development are the flagship qualifications for this professional area and are widely recognised by employers.
Completing a postgraduate qualification means you will have a great depth of knowledge, an understanding of the context of Learning and Development and the leadership, management and development of employees. You will develop and use skills in critical analysis and reflection and know how to develop L&D strategy that will drive organisational performance.
The L&D pathway gives options for studying a number of topics including Learning and Talent Development, Organisational Design and Development and Knowledge Management and Organisational Learning.
There are some rules of combination, but you can mix your qualification units to cover aspects of both HR and Learning & Development.
There are three CIPD Advanced level qualifications in Learning and Development:
Once you’ve completed your qualification, you will become an Associate of the CIPD and can use the designatory letters Assoc. CIPD after your name. If you have the right level of experience, you will then also be able to apply to upgrade to Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow.
