Time frame for providing employee liability information under TUPE amended

Under the Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 the timeframe for the transferor to provide employee liability information to the transferee has been extended (from 14 days) to no later than 28 days before the relevant transfer (where the transfer occurs on or after 1 May 2014)

Right to request flexible working

30 June 2014

The right to request flexible working is to be extended to all employees with 26 weeks' service.  There will be a new Code of Practice published by ACAS along with non-statutory guidance for employers.
